CYPRESS PINE FLOOR SANDING & POLISHING PHOTOS
Cypress Pine timber flooring is one of the most common timber floors here in Toowoomba. It seems like every second house here has a Cypress floor. Its popularity is because its a locally sourced timber from here in south Queensland. We've sanded and polished countless Cyress Pine floors over the 20+ years we've been in the timber restoration business.
Cypress Pine is a softwood timber ranging from light yellow to orange and brown. Its numerous knots make it easily indentifiable. It contains natural resins which make the timber very durable. Those resins get released when it's sanded and your home will smell like a pine forest. This timber is also termite resistant, a great feature for long-lasting flooring.
