HOOP PINE FLOOR SANDING & POLISHING PHOTOS
Hoop pine flooring is a super popular floor here in Queensland. They look amazing restored. We've sanded and polished lots of them over the 20+ years we've been sanding and polishing floors in Toowoomba. Hoop pine is lighter, with a cleaner grain, and doesn't have the knots that Cypress Pine flooring has.
In old Queenslander homes, the original Hoop Pine will have aged to a beautiful dark honey colour. That means if you need to do any repairs and match up new lighter hoop pine to the old aged floor, you will need to stain your new floor boards to match so they blend together better.
